Two new ministers in education department reshuffle

WestminsterAnne Milton and Robert Goodwill have been appointed as new ministers at the Department for Education in a reshuffle of Teresa May’s cabinet following the recent election.

Milton, MP for Guildford takes the skills and apprenticeships brief previously held by Robert Halfon, who has lost his role. Goodwill, MP for Scarborough and Whitby is expected to replace the minister of state for children and families Edward Timpson, who lost his Crewe and Nantwich seat to Labour last week.

Justine Greening MP remains secretary of state for education.
